Are your soaps Vegan?
Absolutely! My Soaps are completely Vegan and Palm Oil free. Tested only on willing humans!
Are your "Magical Soaps" really magical? Does magic really work and can I get a refund if it doesn't "work"?
I am legally required to advise that the magical properties of my products and services are “alleged” and as such the results cannot be guaranteed. No ethical practitioner can guarantee a certain result from magical work, because of the principle of free will. Customers should consider my products and services to be sold as aids for achieving desired results, or as a curios only, and no claims are made as to the effectiveness of psychic or magical work or products.
Can I buy your soap in a store or just online?
My magical soaps are sold at the Green Man Store in North Hollywood, CA. This is the only physical location where you can buy them and they only carry my magical line of soaps.
I saw a soap on your social media page that I want to buy but I can't find it on your website or at the Green Man, what do I do?
There are some soaps that I will continually make depending upon popularity. At the end of the day I am an artist and like to create which means that I will continually try new things and new methods. I cannot guarantee a certain scent, look, or magical intention will be available again once it sells out.
I bought a soap from you and it looks different than the last one I bought with the same name, why?
Each soap is handmade and created in small batches. Because of this each batch of even the same type of soap will look at least slightly different. Once I find a look that I like, I do my best to recreate it with the next batch. I keep stellar notes for each batch but they will always be unique.
About Fragrance Oils and Essential Oils in my products.
All of my fragrance oils are phthalate-free. I purchase only from reputable suppliers that can provide the IFRA information and documentation about the behavior of how their fragrance performs.
I do sometimes use essential oils or fragrance oil/essential oil blends. I prefer to use fragrance oils over essential oils because they are predictable and lab created. Essential oils vary in strength based on the individual plant, harvesting practices and distillation methods. In addition, based on my own research, that there is less of a chance of an allergy reaction to a high-quality FO vs. EO.
Regarding using fragrance oil vs. essential oils in my magical soaps, it is the spirit of the plant that we are using in the magic. Because the fragrance oils are made to mimic the essential oil you still obtain the spirit quality of the plant. In addition, my magical soaps often contain an herbal infusion of the actual plants I work with for spellcrafting. I then use the "tea" as my liquid in my soap making. The natural scent is rarely, if ever, maintained through the chemical reaction of the soap making process. Because of this, adding a fragrance oil to the soap can help aid in the overall "feel" and spirit of the intention in the Arte of soapcraft.
Packaging
I am striving to remain as low waste and plastic free as possible. My bars are wrapped in reusable cotton muslin bags with card stock labels I print at home. The bars are well padded with recyclable box filler and tissue paper and packed in the best fitting size possible to reduce the amount of filling needed. The sealing wax is also Vegan!
Shipping
Orders will be shipped 1-2 days from order date. I use USPS as a default but have made UPS available as an option at check out. I choose UPS vs. FedEx because they are pro Union!
All shipping prices are determined by the carrier. The cost is unfortunately out of my hands as are the number of days it takes to actually deliver. All of my packages are sent with tracking, which will be included in your order confirmation. Please ensure your enter your address correctly, as I will not be responsible for incorrect delivery or package theft. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns regarding shipping. I will always do what i can to help!
Your shipping seems a little expensive. Can you offer discounts of some kind?
In a word, no, I can't. As a small business doing smaller shipping volumes, I do not qualify for discounts from other carriers. I have shopped around for the best deal for my customers and at this time, USPS offers the lowest prices for care of our products. If I find a better shipping option, know that I will begin using it and pass that savings on to you!!
Do you accept wholesale orders / custom soap requests?
Yes, I am open to these requests. Please send an inquiry with the details of your request to me via "Contact Me" link on the site. Please do keep in mind that custom orders will take a minimum of two months or processing. The cure time for my soaps are a minimum of 4-weeks up to 12-weeks depending upon the formula. There is also consideration for the time it takes to gather custom supplies and fir the production into my normal scheduled production.
Additionally, I reserve the right to limit order quantities.
Cancellations/Returns/Refunds
Due to the nature of soap, I do not accept exchanges or returns. Soap is an intimate, sanitary product that I cannot resell once it leaves my studio. Cancellations will not be accepted after the order has been shipped. Refunds will not be given for change of mind or if you provided the wrong shipping address. Refunds will not be given for allergies or reactions. I state every ingredient clearly on the label, please be sure to read correctly and proceed as needed :)
